Change is a choice but you might need to reprogram your subconscious before you start to see any results.

There comes a point in your life when you feel you were on the right track to achieving your outcome. Suddenly it’s just not going the way you wanted it to.

Maybe you’re saying to yourself:

‘Here we go again!’

‘Why do I always fail?’

‘Can’t I just stick to my plan?’

‘I never seem to succeed?’

You know you’ve been here before and you can’t help but almost want to give up.

Stop!
Don’t give up!

Take a few minutes to think about exactly why this might be happening.

Have you taken the same path again without even realising it?

Your subconscious, 95% of your brain is programmed to go down the ‘known’ path, the ‘safe’ path and keep you in your ‘comfort zone’. It’s like a computer.

Consciously you might think you were on the right track but your conscious (you – the programmer) only makes up 5% of your brain.

Any new ideas, goals or new habits need to be deliberate.  In that, I mean you need to consciously work on them and have the will to power them into your everyday life.

I guess you thought you were!

Work on making improvements into who you are as a person.

Remind yourself what you want. Be clear and precise.

Constantly remind yourself exactly what you’re trying to achieve.

It’s not an easy approach but you need to be in charge of your choice, your consistency and your will to succeed.

We are victims of our own actions.

Do you find yourself in the same predicament every time you attempt to achieve something new?

An explanation might be that you’re stumbling across an old belief or programmed issue that needs to be worked on.

There’s that old program from your subconscious blocking you and you’ll need to take steps to work on forming a new program.

You can reprogram your subconscious just like you did when you originally formed the initial program.

Try visualization.

Your subconscious doesn’t know the difference between reality and imagination.

So, take a few minutes 2/3 times a day to practice seeing and feeling what it would be like to achieve the outcome you want.

Yes, it might feel a bit ‘weird’ at first but the more you practice, the more your subconscious will start to believe it and form a new program.

You need to make sure you’re using feelings:
  • What will you gain?
  • How will it feel to achieve this?
  • What will my life look like?

There are other methods to train your subconscious.

I like to teach them in my coaching program. I’ve given you an idea of how to make a start.

Go for it!

You can make a start today to reprogram your subconscious.

With effort, you’ll start noticing the difference.
